Kaci Lin Wood

Kaci Lin Wood, 16, of Sebree died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Sunday, June 5th. She was born on March 19, 2000 to David Wayne and Shanna Leigh Hazelwood Wood. She was a junior at Webster County High School. Kaci was a member of FFA, she played softball for Webster County and loved hunting and fishing. She also loved to sing and dance and was always smiling. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Susie Susu Wood. She is survived by her parents: David and Shanna (Hazelwood) Wood, grandparents: Linda Hazelwood of Sebree, KY, Kenneth (Kathy) Hazelwood of Murfreesboro, TN, Wayne Wood of Sebree, Ky, two sisters: Kayleigh Wood of Sebree, KY and her twin Kari Wood of Sebree, KY, uncle Kevin Hazelwood of Sebree, KY, two aunts Amy Newman and husband Jeff, Poole, KY, Kathy Vaughn and husband Dr. David Vaughn, Newburgh, IN, cousins: Cole Hazelwood, Ashley, Amanda, and Allie Newman, Austin and Cameron Vaughn and many other family members and friends. Services will be Wednesday, June 8th, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree at 1:OO PM with Dr. Dean Esary, officiating and Pastor Stan Strader assisting. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7th from 2:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time.Pallbearers will be Clayton Buchanan, Cole Hazelwood, John Forker, Jerry Buchanan, Gordon Tyler, and Jason Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Hazelwood, Jeff Newman, and Dr. David Vaughn. A memorial scholarship fund has been created at Sebree Deposit Bank.
