Kara Ann (Fruit) Scott, 33 of Henderson passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born June 6, 1980 in Henderson to Steven Earl and Linda Kay (Emery) Fruit. She attended New Covenant Church in Corydon and was a loving mother. She was preceded in death by a brother Steven Cory Fruit, paternal grandmother Joyce Ann Fruit and maternal grandfather Elwood Emery. She is survived by her husband Mark Scott of Henderson Parents: Steven and Linda Fruit of Henderson 2 sons: Jake Anthony Warren and Seth Elwood Warren Maternal grandmother: Lois Emery of Robards Paternal grandparents: Richard and Fontelle Fruit 1 sister: Shanna Kay Fruit of Henderson Mother in law: Lura Loretta Scott of Henderson Grandfather and grandmother in law: Gene and Goldie Haire of Henderson Aunt: Ann Emery 2 nieces: Shayla Rose and Makayla Rose Funeral service will be 12:00 PM Wednesday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Rev. James Everhart will officiate. Visitation will be 3:00 PM-8:00 PM Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Scott, Tim Rye, James Kyle, Jon Hill, Jeffery Scott, Ron Stone and Scott Fowler.
