Karen Anita Holmes

Karen (Berry) Holmes, 60, of Lithia, Florida, formerly of Evansville, IN passed away March 21, 2012 in Frostproof, Fl as a result of an automobile accident. She was born Oct. 16, 1951 in Evansville, IN to the late Charles Clay and Maxine Anita Berry Anderson. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvery Temple in Evansville. She loved animals, gardening and helping other people. She is survived by 3 children: Daniel C. Holmes, Jr. of Evansville Kelli Holmes Dixon of Lithia, FL David Holmes of Plant City, FL Step Father: Charles Anderson of Evansville 1Sister: Kristina (Berry) Smith of Henderson Nephew: Adam Michael Smith of Henderson Niece: Ashley N. Smith of Henderson Aunt: Dorothy “Dot” Riddle Uncle Russ Riddle 3 Step-brothers 3 Step-Sisters 7 Grandchildren Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Visitation is Tuesday 4-8 PM and Wednesday 10AM until service time. Pastor Rodney Murray will ofciate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Evansville, IN. In Lieu of owers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital Indianapolis, IN.
