Kathleen Kay Keene

Kathleen Kay Keene, Or Kathy as she was known by loved ones, passed away at the young age of 60 leaving this earth on December 15, 2020 due to ongoing health complications. Cry not because Kathleen had a very fulfilling, and happy life. Born March 12th, 1960 in Peoria, Illinois to parents Lyle Pitsonbarger Sr (father) and Blanche Pitsonbarger (mother). She was a vibrant young girl ready to conquer anything that came at her. Kathleen grew up alongside her 12 brothers and sisters. Her life was filled with many fun adventures. From living in a bus for a period of time and working from farm to farm as her father helped work the land, to her time at school in which Kathleen excelled in her Academics. Kathleen had many jobs but her most-rewarding job in life was being a mother and a house maker. Kathleen spent the rest of her life making sure her house was a home to her kids and husband in Robards, KY. Kathleen is survived by her husband Roger Keene Sr, her children Roger Keene Jr and wife Katie Keene, Jeremiah Keene and Christopher Keene. Along with her grandkids Roger Keene III, Braelynn Mitchell-Keene and Laylah Keene. Along with Kathleen’s brothers and sisters and their spouses, she will be missed by all she knew her in her life including extended family, friends, and loved ones. The visitation will be at Tomblinson’s funeral home December 18th, 2020 from 11 to 1:30. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Tomblinson Funeral Home to assist with funeral costs.
