Kathryn Bartrum

Kathryn “Kitty” Ann Bartrum, 76 of Sebree passed away Sunday October 17, 2021, at her home. Kitty was born in Indianapolis to the late William “Bill” and Mary (Bayer) Widick.She grew up in Michigan and graduated Wayne High School in Michigan before moving back to Evansville after she was married.  A devoted Christian she attended Souls Harbor Baptist church in Madisonville, Kentucky.  She enjoyed reading, on-line games, and making memories with family and friends.  Besides raising four children, she was employed with H&R Block for over 40 years where she also owned and operating the Sebree office for decades. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Norman Bartrum Sr.; her long-time companion Ray Littlepage; her brother Paul Widick and her son in law Gerald Davis.Kitty is survived by her children Norman Bartrum Jr. of Florida, Brig Gen John Bartrum (Elizabeth) of Virginia, Debbie Davis of Indiana and Michael Bartrum (Becky) of Kentucky; siblings William “Bill” (Susan) Widick lll of Indiana, Sally Freihaut of Illinois, Charles “Randy” Widick of Indiana, Gladys Simmons of Florida, Michael “Mike” Widick of Indiana, and Tom Morse (Ann) of Arkansas.  She will also be missed by her seven beloved granddaughters (Heather, Ashley, Faith, Courtnie, Chelsea, Sophia, and Olivia).  “Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Kitty’s life on November 7, 2021, from 1:30pm to 5:00pm at the Fairfield Inn Evansville West meeting room (Fairfield Inn Evansville West).  The family will have a small private burial service.   In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to a local pet rescue organization in Kitty’s memory. “
