Kathy "Grumpus" Lynn Fleeger

Kathy Lynn (Martin) Fleeger, affectionately called "Grumpus" by her grandkids, 56, of Robards passed away Monday May 15, 2017 at Tristar Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Gary, Indiana on November 3, 1960 to Frank A. Martin and Betty Sue (Lancaster) Glassco. Kathy was an Instructor's Assistant at the Adult Learning Center of the Henderson Community College GED Program for 20 years. She loved to decorate, gardening, yard sales, bargain hunting and her grandkids. She was a member of St. Ananias Orthodox Church in Evansville. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her infant sister Kim Renee Martin. Survivors include her husband David Fleeger, mother Betty Sue Glassco and step-father James "Jim" of Smith Mills, 2 daughters Heather Watson of Robards, Laura Wining and husband Aaron of Evansville, IN, 1 brother James "Jimmy" Martin and wife Tammy of Henderson, 1 sister; Donna Veazey and husband Terry of Henderson, 4 grandchildren Nya Watson, Melanie Wining, Adalyn Wining, Rosalie Wining, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at noon Saturday May 20, 2017 at St. Ananias Orthodox Church, 3407 Bellemeade Ave. Evansville, IN 47714. Father Daniel M. Hackney will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation will be Friday 4-8PM with prayers at 7:45PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson and Saturday 8:00 AM until service time at St. Ananias Orthodox Church in Evansville. Pallbearers will be Nathan Veazey, Justin Veazey, Steven Martin, Dakota Martin, Aaron Wining and Tony Byrne. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Building Fund of Water's Edge Church or St. Ananias Orthodox Church.
