Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Foster, 85, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away on July 6, 2026, at the Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born on February 9, 1941, to the late James R. and Bobbie Foster.

Kenny devoted much of his life to his faith and community, serving as a minister at Eastview Baptist Church and participating in the fellowship of Zion Baptist Church. He was a man of great passion, whether it was cheering on his beloved UK basketball team, enjoying a round of golf, or participating in church league softball games. His joy for life was evident in every endeavor he embraced.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Herrington and grandson, Trevor Ligon.

Kenny leaves behind a loving family that includes his devoted wife of 65 years, Marie Foster; three children, Timothy Wayne Foster, Dana Lynn Dunn and Richard Foster; grandchildren, Mark Alexander Foster, Winston Drew Ligon and his wife, Brandi, and Corey Wayne Foster. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Lincoln Wayne Foster, Elena Grace Ligon, Ilsa Josephine Ligon, and Lucy Lane Ligon; two nieces, Elizabeth Lopp and Monica Brashear.

Memorial services will be 12:00 PM, Friday, July 10, 2026 at Zion Baptist Church, Henderson, KY with Pastor Mike Spivey officiating.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time Friday at the church.
