Kenneth Aaron Fulkerson, 85, of Henderson passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at home after a long battle with cancer. Kenneth was born in Henderson on April 28, 1935 to the late Aaron and Dorothy Fulkerson. He was a retired farmer, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and member of Grace Point Church. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan and New York Yankees fan. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, and grandpa who enjoyed attending Ashley’s softball games and Aaron’s baseball games. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Pat Fulkerson; one nephew, Alan Fulkerson; and one niece, Robin Glunt. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Barbara; two daughters, Kim Fulkerson and Julie House (Jon); one grandson, Aaron Hogan; one granddaughter, Ashley Durham; nephew and cousins. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 11 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Ray Buckman officiating. Entombment will follow in Fairmont Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion Worsham Post #40. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 10 from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday, March 11 from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour, both at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Aaron Hogan, Justin Cessna, David Austin, Steve Fulkerson, Victor Fulkerson, and Eric Fulkerson. Honorary pallbearer will be Ashley Durham. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Anthony’s Hospice, 2410 South Green Street, Henderson, KY 42420 and/or Grace Point Church, 3440 Zion Road, Henderson, KY 42420.
