Kenneth Wayne Gregory

Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Gregory, 78, of Henderson, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at home.

He was born in Henderson on December 24, 1945 to the late Sam Walter Cates and Charlotte (Gregory) Cates.

Kenny worked as a farm manager and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou. Kenny enjoyed riding horses and especially loved harness and standard-bred horses.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue (Claybrooke) Gregory.

He is survived by his significant other, Margaret Hargrove; four children, Kim Noggle, Robbie Kendall, Kenett Gregory and spouse, Kari, and Chasity Gibson; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Cates; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, April 25 from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday, April 26 from 11 a.m. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Holt Dennis, Alex Frankum-Gregory, Matthew Oakley, Bradley Gibson, Greg Skaggs, and Dale Hargrove.

Honorary bearers will be Sam Skaggs and Vaughn Warner.
