Kenneth (Kenny) Purdy

November 4, 1942 — October 26, 2017

Kenneth Lee Purdy Jr. passed away October 26, 2017 at Baptist Health. He was born in Buffalo New York to the late Kenneth and Dorothy ( Schweickert) Purdy. He retired from Big Rivers Electric, a U.S Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion in Sebree Ky. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Richard Purdy and two sisters, Sandy Embs and Kathy Purdy. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Nancy Purdy. Three children; Stephanie Cook, Tina Lee and Chris Goad. Four sisters; Marie Sebzda, Pat Seider, Carol Joslin and Becky King. Two brothers; Wally and Chris Purdy. Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday November 1st at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree Ky. Bro. Johnny McCurry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Springdale Cemetery where American Legion post #40 will conduct military honors. Visitation will be Wednesday 11 AM until services time at the funeral home.
