Kenneth Durwood Starks

Kenneth Durwood Starks age 74 of Mortons Gap, Ky. passed away at 7:14 a.m. Wednesday 02-04-09 at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, Ky. He was born October 22, 1934 in Hopkins County to Kenneth and Ella Mae Tedder Starks. He was a member of the Jesus Name Church in St. Charles, Ky. and a retired coal miner from Peabody Coal Co., Star Mines. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He is survived by his wife Yvonne Starks of Mortons Gap, Ky., his step-mother Martha Starks of Earlington, Ky., two sons Kenneth M. Starks and Dennis Ray Starks both of Mortons Gap, Ky., two sisters June Mitchell and Keela Vandygriff both of Earlington, Ky., one brother Mark Starks of Madisonville, Ky., three grandchildren Dale Starks, Autumn Starks and Austin Starks, two great-grandchildren Nathan Starks and Gabe Starks and several nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Friday 2-6-09 at Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap, Ky. with Bro. Jeff Todd officiating.
