Kervetta Lynn Borum

Kervetta Lynn (Howard) Borum, 68 of Clay, KY and formerly of Sebree, passed away Thursday September 12, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville, KY.

She was born in Henderson KY on November 6, 1955.

Lynn was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed crafts, sewing, canning and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sue and Tommy Buchanan and a granddaughter Jaycee Townsend.

Lynn is survived by 3 children; Rosie (Kyle) Lea of Clay, KY, Darrin (Stephanie) Buchanan of Sebree, KY and Willie (Anna) O’Nan of Mt. Carmel, IL.

Eight grandchildren; CJ Townsend, Ben “Harley” Townsend, Dega Buckman, Liam Lea, Caden Lea, Fisher Buchanan, Finn Buchanan and Lilliann O’Nan.

Six brothers and sisters; Kathy (Tommy) Marks, Kasele “Mug” Dale, Wade (Sherri) Howard, Waylan (Paula) Howard, Kristi Brooks and Frankie Howard.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday September 14, 2024 at Sassafras Grove Church, 2077 Sassafras Grove Rd, Sebree, KY.

Brother Jackie Dale Townsend will officiate.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time at Sassafras Grove Church.

Burial will be at a later date.

Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements.
