Kevin James Brooks

Departed this life in late July, Mr. Kevin James Brooks, 67 of Robards, Kentucky, a gallant Marine who served with honor in Operations Peace for Galilee and Desert Storm, earning the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for heroism at Camp Lejeune, and a virtuous Father.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Joel and Anna, but his spirit is carried on by his beloved son, Chad Ashley Brooks of Durham, North Carolina, as well as his siblings Bonnie Jane Brooks of Melbourne, Florida, W. Bryan (Teresa) Brooks of Brentwood, Tennessee, Jennifer (Michael) Mayo of Jacksonville, Florida and Thad Andrew Brooks of Evansville, Indiana, and nieces Lauren Brooks and Anna Mayo.

Kevin will be laid to rest at the Brooks Family Cemetery in Slaughters, Kentucky with full military honors.

Graveside services will be at 12 Noon on Saturday October 25, 2025.
