Kimberly Sue Moore, 59, died Friday, May 17, 2024, at her residence following a lengthy cancer battle.


She was born on May 11, 1965, in Henderson, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Henderson County High School and completed her master’s degree in health science at St. Catherine University. She was a registered respiratory therapist for 25+ years providing professional and loving care to all she served. Kimberly lived life to the fullest and faced every challenge with all the energy she had.


She is survived by her parents Carnie Sue Moore and Reverend Frankie Moore; son, Brooks N. Moore; sister, Mesia B. Moore, Ph.D.; great aunt, Ruth Hancock; special cousin/second mother, Rosa Woods; and a host of family and friends.


A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Visitation starts at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson.
