Kuma Kay Pippin

Kuma Kay Pippin, age 69, of Henderson, Ky. ,passed away Sunday October 3, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville , In.  Kuma was born in Henderson, Ky. to Junius and Sue Marrett. She graduated from Henderson City High before going on to college at Ivy Tech University.  She was retired from United Pharmacy where she was a data entry Tech. Before her illness she attended Crossroads Christian Church.  Kuma enjoyed spending time with family and friends, writing poetry and doing crafts, which included beautiful bows that she made. She loved having a big family gathering where she cooked her delicious green beans.  Kuma was preceded in death by her Father Junius Marrett, Mother Sue Marrett , and one sibling Annette Sanders.   Kuma is survived by her husband of 50 years, William (Bill) Pippin, one daughter Shanna Lynn Gish, one sister Ethel Grisham.   Relatives and friends are invited to her service at 1:00 PM Thursday October 7, 2021, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Kenny Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 11AM until service time at the funeral home.
