Larraine Embrey

Larraine (Shelton) Embrey, 67 of Henderson passed away September 24, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.  She was born December 21, 1949 to Robert and Gladys Shelton.  She was a beautician and a member of Corydon Missionary Baptist Church.  Larraine loved her grandchildren and spending time in Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Bobby Shelton and a sister; Barbara Sue Crook.  She is survived by her husband; Tom Embrey of 50 years, 2 children; Tonya McGaha and her husband Marty of Henderson and Tommy Embrey, Jr. of Henderson, brother; Donald Shelton and a sister; Phyllis Boldry both of Henderson, 6 grandchildren; Dylan and Tanner McGaha, Tori, Skylar, Abby and Xander Embrey, several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM., September 28, 2017 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.  Bro. Rick O’Daniel will officiate. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday, 4:00 PM-8:00 PM and Thursday, 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be David Shelton, Brian Shelton, Jackie Crook, Darrell Powell, Dorris Givens and Ricky Pinkston.
