Larry Quinn Gibson

Larry Quinn Gibson, 84 of Henderson passed away Wednesday August 30, 2023, at Red Banks Nursing Home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

Larry was born August 3, 1939, in Henderson to the late Julius and Mabel (Gish) Gibson.

He was member of DuPey Baptist Church; a US Army Veteran and retired from Henderson Fire Department as an Arson Investigator.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1st wife, Edith Faye Gibson; his siblings Bernice Harley, Joyce King, and an infant brother James Gibson.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Frances (Payne) Gibson; his sons Larry Gibson, Bruce Gibson (Christa), Chad Gibson (Amie) and Shane Gibson; brother Jerry Gibson; 9 Grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday September 6, 2023, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery in Hebbardsville, KY. Henderson Professional Fire Department Honor Guard will conduct a ringing of the bell ceremony at the cemetery. American Legion Worsham Post #40 Honor Guard will conduct military rites at the cemetery.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Tuesday September 5, 2023, at the funeral home and on Wednesday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mason Gibson, Lance Gibson, Kolby Gibson, Brooklyn Gibson, Bryce Evans, Bradyn Conrad and honorary pallbearer, Marissa Gibson.
