Larry Gene "Chiefy" Henshaw

Larry “Chiefy” Gene Henshaw, 66 of Henderson passed away Saturday July 4, 2015 at his home. He was born January 12, 1949 in Henshaw, KY to Claude and Maebelle Henshaw. He retired as the Assistant Fire Chief from the City of Henderson after 33 years of service. Larry had a passion for farming and a great love for his grandson Brock. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Maebelle Henshaw and a brother Donnie Ray Henshaw. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Burton Henshaw 2 sons; Bryan Henshaw of Henderson, KY Brad Henshaw and his wife Melinda of Henderson, KY Grandson; Brock Henshaw Two step grandchildren; Lyndsey and Cameron Patterson 3 brothers; Wayne Henshaw and his wife Dianna of Henderson,KY Earl Henshaw and his wife Cindy on Smith Mills, KY Ricky Henshaw and is wife Terrie of Springfield, TN 2 sisters; Ruby Eikermann and her husband Terry of Robards, KY Brenda Wethington of Reed, KY Many nieces and nephews Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday July 9th at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Brother Todd Linn will officiate. Entombment will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 Wednesday and 10:00 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
