Laverne "Tojo" Woosley

Laverne “Tojo” Woosley, 79 of Henderson passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Methodist Hospital. He was born April 23, 1936 in McLean County to Jake Woosley and Edith (Wilson) Johnson. Tojo was a member of Victory Christian Center, avid UK basketball fan and loved fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Ann Woosley 5 children: Evan Woosley and his wife Gina Johnny Woosley and his companion Teresa Jackson Brad Woosley and his wife Priscilla Brandon Woosley and his wife Alissa all of Henderson Terry Frontz and his wife Monica of Ohio 1 sister: Doris Roberts of Owensboro 3 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren Nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Jack Ross will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday and 10:00 AM until service Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Gregory Billings, Charlie Goatee, Charles Keach, Jackie Koonce, Harry Mull, Brad Beasley, Kiley Snyder and Wesley Roberts. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to American Heart Foundation.
