Lawrence Dwight “Pops” Greer, 74 of Sebree passed away at Redbanks Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree. He was born January 4, 1941 in Carbondale, IL to Earl Greer and Imogene Turner. He was a member of the Sebree General Baptist Church and was a Maintenance mechanic at Tyson. He was preceded in death by his father Earl Greer. He is survived by his wife Pam (Taylor) Greer of Sebree Mother: Imogene Turner of Evansville, IN 3 children: Lawrence Troy Greer of Clay Earl Dwight Greer of OK Jeanie Greer of Texas City, TX 1 sister: Virginia Greer of Indianapolis 1 brother Charles Eugene Greer of Indianapolis 12 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 15 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Pastor Keith Wilcox will officiate. Burial will be Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 PM-8:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home
