Leland Thomas Dwayne Majors, 19, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Leland was born on July 15, 2007, in Henderson, Kentucky, to Crystal Dawn (Lacer) Perkins. He worked as a press operator at Gibbs Diecasting.
Leland enjoyed spending his free time outdoors and especially loved hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. He was a member of Bellview Methodist Church.
Leland was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennis Majors, Sr.
He is survived by his parents, Crystal and Kevin Perkins; his three siblings, Nathaniel Lacer, Caynin Majors, and Gracelynn Majors; his grandparents, Norma Majors, Darrell and Yvette Lacer, Tammy Thompson (Ricky Eblen); great-grandma, Wanda Gibson; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family members and friends.
Leland will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His love of the outdoors, his family, and the memories he created with those closest to him will remain in the hearts of his loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Stephen Hale officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, and again on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
Pallbearers will be Josh Brooks, Gabe Tucker, Dylan Abbott, Brandon Majors, Braydin Brandsasse, Caynin Majors, Nathaniel Lacer, and Nolan Black.
