Lena (Dorris)Winstead, 78 of Henderson died 1:00 AM Tuesday April 17, 2012 at Redbanks Nursing Home. She was born in Hopkins Co., KY on September 4, 1933 to the late Brady and Jim (Bryant) Gooch Dorris. She was a homemaker and a member of Finley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son Thomas Gene Winstead. Survivors include her husband Frank Winstead Two daughters: Laura Winstead of Geneva, KY Sheila Scott of Geneva, KY One son: Scott Winstead of Geneva, KY One sister: Mary Katherine Cates of Henderson One brother: Frank Dorris of Jackson, TN Four Grandchildren Seven Great Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday April 19 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Jeff Burke will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Friends may call 5:00 PM-8:00 PM Wednesday April 18 and 9:00 AM-11:00 AM Thursday April 19 at the funeral home.
