Lewis Pat Sandefur

Lewis “Butch” Pat Sandefur, 62 of Henderson passed away September 12, 2009 at his home. He was born in July 26, 1947 in Henderson Co. to Ily Wesley and Mildred Emm (Brooks) Sandefur. He was a truck driver for Green River Trucking. He was a former owner of City Cab and Silver City Arcade and a truck driver for Ruth Adkins Farms. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father Ily Wesley Sandefur (1978), his brother Donald Coy Sandefur (1998), 1 sister Peggy Louise Sandefur (1945), and a grandson William Lewis Sandefur (1998). He is survived by: His mother Mildred (Brooks) Sandefur of Owensboro, KY 2 daughters: Easter Loman of Reed, KY Hayley Sandefur of Henderson, KY 2 sons: Troy Sandefur of Henderson, KY Patrick Sandefur of Hebbardsville, KY 2 sisters: Dora Emm “Susie” Ruby of Slaughters, KY Helen Lou Nicholson of Stevensville, MI 3 brothers: Ily Thomas Sandefur of Owensboro, KY William “Bill” Hartford Sandefur of Newburgh, IN Kenneth Wilbur Sandefur of Reynolds Station, KY 2 Ex-wives: Betty Sandefur of Henderson, KY Melinda Sandefur of Henderson, KY 5 grandchildren: Michelle Sandefur, Dustin Sandefur, Miranda Loman, Casey Sandefur, and Preston Powell. Services will be Wednesday September 16, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday September 16, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
