Lila "Momma Jean" Garrett

Lila "Momma Jean" Rideout Garrett, 80 of Henderson, KY passed away on June 17, 2017 at Henderson Nursing and Rehab in Henderson, KY. She was born in Henderson, KY on September 15, 1936 to the late Clarence Rideout and Lila Stone Rideout. She was a homemaker. She loved to play bingo and she loved the Kentucky Wildcats. She was affectionately called "Momma Jean" by most every one she knew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Garrett. She is survived by her children; David Garrett and wife Misty and Tina Nelson and husband John all of Henderson, KY, and 5 grandchildren; Mike Garrett, Shawna Dunn, Shelly Garrett, Tanisha Joyce, and Trey Hall and 3 great grandchildren. Services will be on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 7 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Brother Thornton Stanley will officiate. Visitation will be from 1-7 pm at the funeral home. There will be no graveside service. Honorary Pallbearers will be Trey Hall, Mike Garrett, Tim Jennings, Lonnie Garrett, Steve Keister, and Sammy Rideout. Memorial contributions can take the form of donation to St. Anthony's Hospice.
