Linda Jane Abell

Linda Jane Abell 78 of Henderson passed away July 5, 2018 at Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was born in Morganfield on February 29, 1940 to the late Gordon Abell and Mabel (Shanks) Abell. She retired from Atlas Van Lines as a system support analyst. She loved to cook, crochet, quilt and coloring as well as coordinate monthly lunch buddies. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother/friend Buelah Mae Abell and a sister Priscilla Vernam. She is survived by two sisters Pam McCormic (John) and Carol Arvin (Jack), several nieces and nephews, lots of great nieces and nephews and one great- great niece she loved as her own children. Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday July 08, 2018 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with burial to follow at Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 AM Sunday until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jack Arvin, John McCormic, Jacob Throgmorton, Zach Goben, Nathan Goben and Brandon Vernam. Honorary Pallbearers will be Laney Throgmorton and Corben Throgmorton. Expression of sympathy can be to The Lucy King Center the giving tree.
