Linda Cavanah

Linda Ruth (Stanley) Dohrn Cavanah, 71, of Henderson passed away Saturday May 7, 2016 at St. Anthonys Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was born in Fairfield, Illinois on August 6, 1944 to James Harold and Verna Louise (Trent) Stanley. Linda retired from K-Mart in Henderson and was a member of Audubon Baptist Church. She was a loving mom, nana and wife and enjoyed traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband Richard Dohrn, 2 sons Leslie and Larry Dohrn and 2 sisters. Survivors include her husband of 22 years Don Cavanah, 5 children: Linda Wolfe and husband Eric of Newburgh, IN, Lori Smith and husband Brad of Gray, GA, Daniel Dohrn and wife Misty of Henderson, John Dohrn and wife Vicki of Boonville, IN, Mary Rye and husband Drennen of Macon, GA, 3 Step-son: Jay Cavanah and wife Marie, John Cavanah and wife Denise, Frank Cavanah and wife Janet all of Henderson, 1 brother: Larry Stanley and wife Claudia of California, 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday May 12, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Andy Weaver will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 3-7PM and Thursday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthonys Hospice.
