Linda Christensen

Linda Kay Christensen (Beals), age 53, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, at Deaconess Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 1, 1971, Linda was the beloved daughter of Margaret Lee Beals (Dixon) and the late Aaron Lee Beals. She grew up with her sister, Amy Carter (Tony), with whom she shared a lifelong bond.

Linda was a proud and dedicated nurse, known for her compassionate care and unwavering commitment to helping others. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her work and into every part of her life. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, Nana, and friend—devoted, warm, and full of life.

She is survived by her six children: Katherine Williams, Wesley Hogge (Kelsey), Kimberly Hogge (Zack), Emmett Hogge (Candra), Brian Hogge (Olivia), and Olivia Hogge (Noah); as well as her beloved grandchildren: Renner, Max, Levi, Bentley, Connor, and Aiden.

Linda also leaves behind her cherished niece and nephew: Renee Carter (T.C.) and Chris Carter (Taylor), whom she lovingly called her “favorite nephew.” She is further survived by her great-nephews: Brayden, Aaron, and Owen, and her great-niece, Addison. She is also remembered by many extended family members and friends who were dear to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Aaron Lee Beals.

Linda faced a long illness with remarkable strength and resilience. Her strong will, fierce determination, and enduring spirit were an inspiration to everyone who walked beside her through that journey. Even in her most difficult days, she showed courage, grace, and a deep love for her family that never wavered.

Linda loved cooking, laughing, and spending time with her grandchildren—who were the light of her life. She approached each day with joy, generosity, and a deep appreciation for the people she loved. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Tomlinson Funeral Home in Henderson, with music by Dave Lutz. All who knew and loved Linda are welcome to attend and honor her memory.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time Monday, July 21, 2025.
