Linda Marie Garrett, 74 passed away on March 3, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose caring heart touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Garrett and their sons John Garrett and Cody Garrett. Their loss was heavy on her heart, yet she carried their memory with strength and unwavering love. Linda was also preceded by 2 brothers Mike Mathewson of Oxford, Wisconsin, Mark Mathewson of Portage, Wisconsin and sister Shelley Degeralomo of Henderson.
She is survived by her children: Tisha Gregory (Phillip) of Robards; Matthew Garrett of Boaz; Jeremy Garrett (Emily) of Bowling Green; and sister Sue Eckels (Bob) of Henderson. Linda was a proud and loving grandmother to her eleven grandchildren, who were among the greatest blessings of her life. Each held a special place in her heart and she never missed an opportunity to brag about them.
Linda was known for her warm spirit and unconditional love. She deeply cherished time spent with her family, especially playing card games filled with laughter and friendly competition. She enjoyed watching movies and her favorite soap operas, spending time with her children and grandchildren and sharing meaningful conversations with friends and family.
Her faith in God was part of her life and as a member of Sebree First Baptist Church, she valued her church family deeply. Linda's life reflected quiet strength, devotion and compassion. She loved fully, forgave quickly and supported her family faithfully through every season of life.
Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday March 7, 2026 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Dr. Bob Hardison officiating. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family, church family and many friends. Though her earthly journey has ended, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
