Lisa Carole Buchanan-Whitaker

Lisa Carole Buchanan-Whitaker, 58, of Marion, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 under the care of Baptist Health Hospice.  She was born in Evansville on July 15, 1962.  Lisa loved spending time with her grandkids.  She was an animal lover especially of horses and enjoyed all things outdoors: fishing, gardening and camping.    She was preceded in death by her mother Diane Pearson, sister Buffie Koue and brother Mark Glaysbrook.  Survivors include her father Carol Buchanan (Sharon) of Henderson, 2 children Elisha LaRoche (David) and Marc Whitaker all of Madisonville, 2 sisters Sherrie McKeethen of Evansville, Jackie Buchanan of Texas, step-sister Jamie Thurgood of Clarksville, TN, 7 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Springdale Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Gideon’s International, PO Box 1163 Henderson, KY 42419.
