Lisa Michelle Payne

Lisa Michelle (Ramsey) Payne, 47, of Henderson, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

She was born in Decatur, IL on February 2, 1976 to Orbley John and Brenda E. (Maynard) Ramsey.

Lisa was a bookkeeper and received an associate degree in business from Indiana Business College. She was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting, family vacations, and dinner theater.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John A. Ramsey; paternal grandfather, Orbley Ramsey; and maternal grandparents, Otis and Opal Maynard.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Payne; five children, Brenda Jean Payne, Sammy Rigdon IV, John A. Ramsey, Sr., Lindsay Michelle Payne, and Sarah Elizabeth Payne; four grandchildren, Kylie Rae Corbitt, Ramsey Michelle Corbitt, Arabella Grace Payne, and John A. “ J.J.” Ramsey; parents, Orbley John and Brenda E. Ramsey; grandmother, Shirley A. Ramsey; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 15 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Orbley Ramsey and Rev. Dan Book officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 14 from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday, June 15 from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time.
