Lloyd Henry Boucherie

Lloyd Henry Boucherie, 86, of Bridgeton, Missouri, passed away on September 30, 2023, in Henderson, Kentucky. Born on May 28, 1937, Lloyd was a dedicated family man and a proud Navy veteran who served on the Redfin Submarine.


Lloyd had a fulfilling career as an Electronics Engineer, working for Schlumberger for 30 years until his retirement. In his free time, he pursued various hobbies, including gardening, RVing, fishing, wood working and hunting. Lloyd found solace and joy in these activities, which allowed him to connect with nature and express his creativity.


Lloyd’s military associations were deeply meaningful to him. He was respected member of the American Legion in Henderson, KY, where he forged lifelong friendships with fellow veterans. Lloyd’s time in the Navy was a defining chapter of his life, and he carried the values of service, duty, and camaraderie with him throughout his years.


In addition to his professional and military accomplishments, Lloyd cherished his role as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving daughters, Valerie Reeg (Don) and Pam Lane (Mark); his grandchildren, Ambree Schultz (Matt), Rachel Hilton (Reed), Ashley Sommerhalder (David), Michele Garrett and Nathan Veatch; and his great-grandchildren, Ryan Schultz, Emery Hilton, Kellan Schultz, Charlotte Schultz, Layne Hilton, Ethan Schultz, Jude Hilton, Monroe Sommerhalder, Levi Schultz, Liam Sommerhalder and Everett Sommerhalder. Lloyd also leaves behind his sister-in-laws, Margaret Boucherie and Joyce Boucherie, as well as many nieces and nephews.


Lloyd’s passing is preceded by his parents, John and Irene Boucherie, and his brothers James Boucherie, Ellis Boucherie, Harvey Boucherie, Bill Boucherie and Johnny Boucherie. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.


Lloyd Henry Boucherie will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his passion for his hobbies. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience . May his soul find eternal peace.


There will be a small private family graveside service Friday morning, October 6, 2023
