Lois Ann Oliver

Lois Ann (Collins) Oliver, 74 of Henderson passed away 8:31AM Janurary 6, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was born March 23, 1939 in Detroit, MI to Coy Joe and Mary Louise (Babb) Collins. She was a member of Emmaus Missionary Baptist Church in Marion, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Worsham Post #40 and a member of the VFW in Marion, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 24 years Willard Lee Oliver, 2 sons; Kenny Duncan and Jim Duncan and a great granddaughter Kylie Basham. 2 daughters: Cynthia Gilley and her husband James of Robards Mary Jo Goins and her husband Roger of Baskett Daughter-in-law Susan Duncan of Calhoun Betty Hayes and her husband Steve of Evansville who was regarded like a daughter 2 brothers: Robert Owen Collins and his wife Dorothy of Caldwell, ID Ray Collins and his wife Sue of Palm Springs, CA 12 grandchildren 33 great grandchildren 1 great great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Tomblinson Funeral Henderson Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Brother Ron Hampton will officiate. Friends may call after 2:00 PM Friday and Saturday 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
