Lola Gatewood

Lola May Gatewood, 71, of Henderson, passed away Tuesday May 3, 2016 at 9:16AM at St. Anthonys Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was born in Webster County, Kentucky on August 24, 1944 to James Duncan and June (Holmes) Shelton. Lola was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovahs Witness in Henderson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers. Survivors include her mother June Shelton of Henderson, 2 sons: Keith Gatewood of Morganfield and Steve Gatewood of Madisonville, 3 sisters: Wanda Graham of Smyrna, TN, Barbara Dunn of Zion, Judy Wilson of Smith Mills, 2 brothers: Cecil Shelton and Brian Shelton both of Henderson, 4 grandchildren, 3 Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be2:00 PM Saturday May 7, 2016 at Kingdom Hall Jehovahs Witness with Randy Jones officiating. There will be no visitation. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness or Watchtower Society. Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel is handling arrangements.
