Loretta Groves

Loretta (Rowe) Groves, 64, of Henderson passed away Sunday January 18, 2009 at her daughter’s residence in Henderson. She was born Nov. 30, 1944 in Muhlenberg Co. to Haley and Viltula (Blanchard) Rowe. She worked in the nursing field as a medicine aid. She was a member of American Legion Women’s Auxillary Worsham Post # 40, and a member of Henderson Women of Moose Lodge # 441. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Dorothy Seaton and 1 brother Willis Rowe. She is survived by her husband Dean Groves of Henderson, KY 1 daughter Paula Ray and her husband Shawn of Henderson, KY 3 sons: Manford Dalvis Stewart of Henderson, KY Kenneth Ray Stewart of Henderson, KY Paul Randal Ray, Jr. and his wife Chasity of Princeton, KY 1 step-son Jeff Groves and his wife Debbie of Henderson, KY 1 sister Wanda Tate of Hartford, Ky 1 sister-in-law Lavern Rowe 31 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday Jan. 23, 2009 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Rev. John Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday January 22, 2009 and 9:00 A.M.-service time Friday January 23, 2009 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jerry Croft, Charlie Minton, Paul Ray, Jr., Wayne Croft, Gary Croft, and Paul Petrie. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
