Lori Hensley

Lori Hensley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the Fort Branch community, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, at the age of 47. Born on January 13, 1978, in Evansville, Lori lived a life filled with love, purpose, and strong family connections.

As a dedicated mother and grandmother, Lori spread love and light throughout her family. Her family was her life, and they will remember her with love. Her accomplishments as a host for the most memorable holiday celebrations and love for travel helped define her gentle spirit and kind nature.

Lori was preceded in death by her father Larry A French, her brother Larry M French, and her beloved granddaughter Calayah Reeves, her mother-in-law Cathlean Hensley, and father-in-law Terry Hensly.

Lori is survived by her adoring husband, Dennis Hensly and their loving children, Xavier Freni and his fiancé Abbie, Abigail Freni and her fiancé Preston, Brianna Hensly and her partner Damion, Tiffany Hensley, Cortney Russelburg and her partner Chris, Conrad Hensley, and her grandmother-in-law- Quennie Edwards. She was deeply loved and cherished by her mother, Shelia Landreth-French. She is also survived by her many loving grandchildren, Cheyanne, Summer, Autumn, Harmonie, Caius and Aurora. Lori found great joy in her family, celebrating every milestone and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

In celebration of Lori’s life, a visitation will be held at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson on July 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM followed by a memorial service officiated by Alec and Chad Hensley, commencing at 4:00 PM.

These gatherings will offer family and friends an opportunity to reflect on Lori’ds impact, share stories, and embrace the love that she embodied throughout her life.

Lori’s spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege to know her. We invite all who loved Lori to join us in commemoration of her extraordinary life and the joy she brought to those around her.
