Lorraine Marie Gibson

Lorraine Marie (Benge) Gibson, 71, of Henderson, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Lucy Smith King Care Center.

She was born in Denison, IA on May 24, 1951 to the late Harold and Wilma Grace (Ahrenholtz) Benge.

Lorraine was a faithful Christian and member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a selfless, caring person who loved helping others. Lorraine had a wonderful sense of humor and was always on the move. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Josh Gibson (Elizabeth) of Henderson; grandchildren, Katelyn Gibson and Landon Gibson; and siblings, John Benge (Marjorie), Mary Miller, Barb Holmes (Greg), and Ginny Gregerson, all of Manilla, IA.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 21 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Moog officiating.

Visitation will be at the church on Monday, November 21 from 10 a.m. until service time.

Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may take the form of donations to Trinity Lutheran Church and/or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
