Louis Dean Stokes

Louis Dean Stokes Sr., 70 of Henderson passed away January 20, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Louis was born in Elkton Kentucky to the late Baker and Ruth (Latham) Stokes, He was of the Baptist faith and a US Army Veteran. Louis enjoyed coon hunting, gardening and especially loved his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Dorothy Layne, James Stokes, J.G Stokes and Linda Hurst. Louis is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Betty Stokes; his children Kristie Piller (David) and Louis Stokes Jr. (Chasity); his grandchildren Lindsay, Kelsie, Kayla, Jordan Zach, and Clay; 5 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be 11:30 AM Monday January 24, 2022, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ryan Nunn officiating. American Legion Worsham Post #40 will conduct military honors.
