Louise “Polly Flener, 89, of Sebree passed away Saturday January 29, 2011at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, In. She was born August 7, 1922 in Webster County, KY to Pete and Gertie (Spalding) Thomas She was a restaurant owner and operator in Sebree, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Holbart McKinley Flener in 1972, brother Oliver “Buck” Thomas, 2 step sons: Lendon Flener and Wendell Flener. She is survived by 1 daughter Donna (Flener) Borum and her husband Cecil of Sebree, KY and 1 son Kenny Flener and his wife Nancy.of Sebree, Ky 2 Step daughters Norma Flener Clark of Morgnatown, KY and Linda Sue Flener James of South Carolina. 1 sister Minnie Catlin of Sebree, KY, 4 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday February 2, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel in Sebree, KY with Dr. Bob Hardison and Bro. Nate Harper officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday February 1 and 9-11 AM Wednesday February 2 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Benji Mason, Curt Hardison, Cameron Mason, Chad Borum, Tommy Catlin, Emery Thomas, Timmy Catlin, Zach Hibbs, James Otis Catlin, Cecil Borum, Bo Thomas, and Tyler Thomas. Memorial contributions may be made to Sebree General Baptist Church Building Fund or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
