Lucille Adams

Lucille Browder Adams, 89 of Corydon went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 7:45 PM. Lucille Adams was born in Henderson, KY on May 10, 1925 and married during The Great Depression. She and her husband Marvin served God and family together for 45 years until his death in 1985. Lucille has been a faithful servant of the Lord and has changed countless lives. She was richly blessed with a large loving family who were at her side when she passed away at home after a gradual decline in health. She was a homemaker and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. Lucille taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents Thorton Hall and Laura Jane (Ezell) Browder, husband of 45 years Rev. Marvin Adams, son Larry Dale Adams, Grandsons; Chad Adams and Terry Adams, great grandson Harold Pullum III, sister Christine Browder. She is survived by five children: Nancy Stovall (Michael) of Houston, TX Patricia Grace (Mac) of Henderson Debbie Kitchens (David) of Robards, KY Robin Trimble of Henderson Dr. Thomas Michael Adams (Marsha) of Murray, KY One sister: Margaret Arnett of Cairo, KY 15 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren 1great great grandchild Nieces and nephews Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Corydon Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Rick O’Daniel and Bro. Alan Chamness will officiate. Burial will be Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:30 PM Saturday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel and after 12:00 PM Sunday at Corydon Missionary Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Matt Stovall, Brent Stovall, Nathan Grace, David Kitchens, Ian Trimble, Taft Adams and Grant Adams.
