Lucille Thomas

Lucille “Lucy” (Lambdin) Thomas, 81 of Sebree, KY passed away at 8:25 PM Tuesday April 5, 2011 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born in Webster County, KY on August 6, 1929 to the late Eddie and Ella (Duncan) Lambdin. She owned and operated Thomas Café in Sebree, KY for over 55 years. She was also instrumental in raising money and overseeing the decorating of Main Street in Sebree for many years. In addition to her parents she was prededed in death by her husband; Oliver “Buck” Thomas, sister; Louise Eastwood, Brother in law Amous Eastwood, Nephew Billy Eastwood and 2 sister in laws; Polly Flener and Minnie Catlin. She is survived by a son and daughter in law; Emery and Mary Thomas of Sebree 2 grandsons; Bo Thomas and Tyler Thomas both of Sebree 2 Great grandchildren; Gracie and Jackson Thomas both of Sebree. Nieces and Nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday April 8, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Dr. Bob Hardison and Rev. Thornton Stanley will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kenny Flener, Timmy Catlin, Tommy Catlin, Sonny Eastwood, Dirk Eastwood and Ricky Edens.
