Lula Finley

Lula (Cornett) Finley, 88, of Henderson, passed away Tuesday October 30, 2018. She was born in Perry County, Kentucky on April 11, 1930 to the late Charlie and Peggy (Holbrooks) Cornett.Lula was a homemaker and member of 1st Assembly of God in Henderson.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son Bobby “Finn” Finley, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include her husband of 66 years Bob Finley, 4 children Pamela Gooch of Newburgh, IN, Jeff Finley and wife Jodie of Cairo, KY, Lisa Berntsen and husband Lloyd of Newport, RI, Theresa Robinson and husband Jack of Mt. Pleasant, SC, 2 sisters Ruby Cornett and Irene Cantrell both of Ohio, 6 grandchildren: Emily Gooch, Michael Gooch, Jenny Berntsen, Andrew Berntsen, Victoria Weathers and Aaron Robinson. Services will be at noon, Saturday November 3, 2018 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.Jerry Daniels will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 4-8PM and Saturday 10AM until service time at the funeral home.
