Lynda Gayle (Culver) Phillips, 66, of Henderson passed away Sunday December 14, 2014 under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born in Evansville, IN February 7, 1948 to the late Raymond and Margaret Lucille (Parker) Culver. She was an ADL instructor at Sandefur Training Center and had been a substitute teacher for Henderson County Schools. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, attended First Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Don Culver. She was survived by her husband Mike Phillips, 3 children: Amy (Cary) Allen of Paducah, Mark (Fran) Floyd of Sebree, and Destiny (Tedd) Moffett of Henderson, 7 grandchildren: Brit Fruit, Nigel Allen, Canaan Floyd, Hunter Moffett, Mason Stott, DeLacey Floyd, and Parker Allen, and 2 nieces. Services will be 7:00 PM Thursday December 18, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson with Dr. Bob Hardison officiating. Visitation will be 4:30-7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice. Online condolences may be made at tomblinsonfuneralhome.com
