M. Marietta Griffin

Marietta Griffin, 83 of Corydon passed away July 24, 2018 at Methodist Hospital. She was born in Corydon, KY on April 2, 1935 to the late Rudy and Thelma Givens.  She was of the Methodist faith and had been a care giver.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James Griffin, Sr. (2009), granddaughter; Brandy Nichole Moore, great grandson; Bentley James Griffin, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by four children; Nancy Stone and husband Billy of Corydon, Teresa Brunner of Poole, James Griffin, Jr. of Slaughters, Janet Duncan of Corydon, one sister; Dorothy Gibson of Ohio, one brother; Rudy Givens of Little Dixie, seven grandchildren; Joella, Billy, Ashley, Brandon, Shanda, Jimmy, Taylor, six great grandchildren; Tyler, Lucas, Jonathan, Brooklynn, Payton and Harley. Funeral services will be Sunday, 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.  Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, 4:30 PM-8:00 PM and Sunday, 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
