Mamie Lou Emery

Mamie Lou Emery, 95, of Madisonville, KY passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at Princeton Nursing and Rehab. Mamie was born July 29, 1926 in Hopkins County to the late Claud and Etta Joyner. She was of the General Baptist Faith. She worked for Reid Walters Funeral Home in Earlington and Tomblinson Funeral Home, formerly Tompkins Funeral Home in Sebree and Slaughters, until her retirement in 2016. In addition to her parents, Mamie was preceded in death by her two husbands, E.M. Clark and Pete Emery; grandchild, Terry Spainhoward; four sisters and two brothers. Mamie is survived by her four children, Glenda Dean Morrow, Francis Jane Dexter, Nancy Lois Burden, Cecil Clark (Shirley); eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, September 13, 2021, 1:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Sebree Chapel with Bro. Bob Hardison officiating.   Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville. Visitation will be Monday, 10:00 AM until funeral time at the funeral home.
