Marcelle Mattingly

Marcelle Mattingly, 87 of Henderson passed away 10:20 PM February 15, 2016 at St. Anthonys Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was born March 29, 1928 in Poole, KY. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Laz Dill Puckett, Jr., 2nd husband, Charles Mattingly and one daughter Virginia Louise Yarborough. She is survived by 6 children: Allen Puckett of Henderson, John Steven Puckett, Sr. of Henderson, Michael Laz Puckett of Henderson, Sherri Ledbetter of Robards, Lisa Kay Tyler of Anthoston and Nancy Beth Van of Sturgis. 11 grandchildren Several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren Nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday February 19 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Deborah McBride will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Thursday and 9:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Matthew Pruitt, Sam Slaughter, Rick Dobbs, Chance Puckett, Dillon Peach and Pete Van. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthonys Hospice.
