Margaret Sue Austin

Margaret “Peggy” Austin 71, of Henderson passed away December 27, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born in Henderson to the late Homer and Dorothy (Cornett) Lasure.She was retired from AT&T as a customer service representative and a member of Watson Lane Baptist Church. Peggy was devoted to her family and her fur baby Gabby and loved being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children Laura Blake-Rudd and Sean Blake; grandchildren, Warren Blake (Liz) and Reagan Rudd; great grandchildren, Bentley Thomas and Fischer Blake; ex-spouse and good friend, David Blake. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 31 at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 31 from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
