Margaret Louise Williams, 80, of Henderson passed away Wednesday August 30, 2023 at Redbanks Nursing Home.
She was born in Henderson County on June 25, 1943 to the late Rudy and Lois Elizabeth (Vaughn) Vanover.
Margaret was retired from the Henderson County School System where she had worked as a school cook. She also enjoyed reading.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Virginia Lynn Case; 12 siblings William David Vanover, Mary Elizabeth (Vanover) Webster, James Lewis Vanover, Janie M. West, Eldean Whitledge, Nina D. Phillips, Betty Joyce Edwards, Donald Eugene Vanover, Charles Edward Vanover, Rosie Mae Lambdin, Phyllis Ann Austin and James “Sonny” Vanover.
Survivors include her loving husband, Kenneth D. Williams; two sons Larry Elliott (Susie), Scottie Dale Elliott; two daughters Troy Snow, Kendra Graw; sister Francis Irene Rone (Larry); seven grandchildren Justin Elliott (Alicia), Joshua Elliott, Gloria Elliott (Zach), Jason Case, Jeff Brown (Melanie), Cody Brown (Jennifer) Odessa McCollum (Ben); twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special nieces Sue Martin and Cindy Sauer; several other nieces and nephews
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday September 6, 2023 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Pastor Nathan Whisnant officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4-7PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time.
Burial will be in Cash Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Williams, Edwin Williams, Joshua Elliott, Justin Elliott, Jeff Brown and Cody Brown.
