Margie Lee Sutton

Margie Lee (Allen) Sutton, 67, of Owensboro passed away January 8, 2019 at Owensboro Hospital. Margie was born in Salt Lake City, UT on July 10, 1951 to the late William Hyott Allen, Jr. and the late Vivian Averil (Drain) Allen. She retired from Loving Care as a home health aide and was a member of First Assembly of God in Henderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Essel B. Sutton; daughter, Lisa Sutton; sister, Ernesteen Allen; brothers, Clarence Dewayne Pressley and David Pressley; and companion, Charles Dennis. She is survived by three sons, Walter Pierce, Jr. and wife, Judy of Owensboro, Daniel Sutton and wife, Carrie of Woodbridge, VA, and Adam Pierce and wife, Kana of Rochester, NY; sisters, Janet Pressley, Judy Pressley, Tina Michelle Pressley, Charlotte Ann Golden and Thelma Pressley; brothers, Thomas Pressley, Jimmie Pressley, Kenneth Pressley, Richard Pressley and Roy Pressley; and grandchildren, Daniel Kai Sutton, Christian Sutton, Samuel Sutton, Noah Sutton, Adam Sutton, Amanda Marksberry, Jason Tucker, Jr., Jennifer Meloche, Stacey Hentz, Derrick Posey, and Jessica Shanklin. Memorial service will be Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Amvets Post 126 on 1724 Franklin Avenue in Henderson. Tomblinson Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
