Marion David Carter

Marion David Carter, 61, of Sebree, passed away Sunday March 18, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Henderson on August 10, 1950 to Ernest David and Clara (Liles) Carter. He was employed as a maintenance engineer at Gibbs Die Casting. He was on the Volunteer Fire Department at Smith Mills for 17 years, the Henderson City/ County Rescue for 17 years and the Uniontown Fire Department and Rescue for 6 years. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by: his wife of 41 years, Connie Carter of Sebree Mother: Clara Holder of Henderson 4 Children: Iley D. Carter of Henderson Angela Carter of Henderson John James Carter of Sebree Billy Joe Carter of Dixon 2 Brothers: Darryl Carter of Hebbardsville Daniel Carter of Henderson Debbie Williams of Reed Delores Hall of Henderson 16 Grandchildren 1 Great-Grandchild Several Nieces and Nephews Services are 1:00 PM Wednesday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Randy Durbin will be officiating Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield. Pallbearers will be J.R. Willett, Nick Embry, Adam Posey, Bobby Daughtry, Billy Carter and Daniel Carter.
