Mark Alan Givens

Mark Alan Givens, 49 of Little Dixie, KY passed away Sunday morning August 9, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born in Henderson, KY on July 31, 1960 to Rudy and Tootsie Givens, Jr. He was an employee of Gibb’s Die Casting in Henderson. He was a member of the Jerusalem Masonic Lodge #9 in Henderson, a member of the Union Hill General Baptist Church in Little Dixie and an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife; Jeri Givens of Little Dixie, KY Daughter; Ariel Givens of Little Dixie, KY Grandmother; Janie Courtney of Little Dixie, KY Sister; Charlotte Critser of Little Dixie, KY Brother; Dale Givens of Little Dixie, KY Several Nieces and Nephews Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday August 11, 2009 at the Union Hill General Baptist Church on Whitelick Road in Little Dixie. Rev. Roy Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, KY Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements. Pallbearers will be Tommy Givens, Bo Givens, Lance Critser, Daniel Calvert, Mitch Tarr and Scott Tapp. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Union Hill General Baptist Church Building Fund.
